Why I Love the Net – Part 2

November 26th, 2009

Back in August, I wrote this post: Why I Love the Net So at that time, Danielle was just a random girl on YouTube who I thought was talented and cute and cool. Then, 3 months later, Danielle says “Hi Richard” to me from the stage at a performance in Los Angeles. After the show, I get a picture and a hug. I love the net.

I have seen the future…

November 20th, 2009

Sometimes the sheer weight of all the hype being spewed at me every day from all the mailing lists I’m on gets depressing. I archive most of it without even reading it. I have so much on my plate now, the last thing I need is a “new” “secret” marketing “system.”

But I got an email from a guy who very rarely sends out to his list. It’s a guy who built some software I use for my eBay marketing campaigns. He was pimping a program by a guy who I recognize from the software forums. Well, let me tell you…. this guy has it figured out! I am so down with his business model that I can’t wait to get started using it!

I have seen my future and it’s name is Mage…  this guy has rethought the whole process and when I was watching the videos, it so obviously made sense to me that I couldn’t believe it! This method isn’t for everyone, but there is no doubt it is perfect for me! I am fucking stoked!

Time Management

November 8th, 2009

Between the Thirty Day Challenge and The Immediate Edge trial, it seems like I’ve been spending all my time learning about marketing instead of actually doing any marketing. But now the time has come to start working on my sites again and start putting all this new knowledge into practice. More than ever I really feel like I finally have all the pieces to the puzzle and now I just need to work on putting it all together.

One of the things I have planned is to move this blog to a new address. I need to learn how to do that so I can more easily sell off some of my sites and what better way to learn than with a non-commercial site that isn’t really keyword dependent.

I’m excited with all the Immediate Edge content I was able to grab and I’m really looking forward to working my way through it. It’s time for me to step up my game and start making some serious cash. Making a small amount of money online is pretty easy, but getting into the big leagues is a real challenge.
