Anti-Aging
I’ve decided to make a page dedicated specifically to anti-aging because it is a subject I really enjoy thinking about, reading about, and working on.
It’s important to note right off the bat that “aging” isn’t the same thing as getting older. There are lots of things about getting older that I really enjoy and embrace. But the physical deterioration of my body isn’t one of them and that’s what anti-aging is all about for me.
The aging process is a bit like the breathing process. It goes on all the time whether you think or do anything about it or not. It’s part of how our bodies work. The cool thing is that you can do things about it that will slow it down and not only maintain, but improve the quality of your life.
I hope you find this page interesting and informative and ultimately, I hope you use the information here to improve the quality of your life.

Anti-aging – the sort version… eat right and exercise daily.
The devil, as they say, is in the details.
Everyone thinks they know how to “eat right,” yet almost no one really does. If you haven’t seriously studied nutrition, you don’t know how to eat right.
For example, you should be eating six small meals a day. You should be eating protein, carbs and fats at every meal. If you’re over 35, you should be eating very few, if any, starchy carbs. Starchy carbohydrates raise your insulin levels dramatically and controlling insulin is one of the cornerstones of anti-aging.
Exercising keeps you alive and moving well. Strength training does that even better.
Deeper discussions of diet and exercise to follow….
