Dreams

August 10th, 2009

Let me tell you, trying to make money with internet marketing is no cake walk. There is a ton of new stuff to learn, and it’s just flat out WORK… and it’s a ton of work, not just a little work.

But here’s the thing that keep me going…

Every hour I spend learning about and working on internet marketing is taking me one step closer to realizing my dream of working from home full time and having a better life. I have no doubt that I am going to make all my dreams come true with this stuff.

I’m literally making my dreams come true.

I think that is way cool.

Ed Dale

August 2nd, 2009

You gotta love Ed Dale.

Let me tell you, Ed Dale is a real mensch, a real stand-up guy. Here’s a guy who has made millions in internet marketing and instead of keeping his hard won knowledge to himself, he freely gives it away. In fact, he doesn’t just give it away, he spends countless hours and tons of his own money to make it EASY for other people to get this knowledge that can make you (and hopefully me) a millionaire. Truly amazing.

Like I said, you gotta love Ed Dale.

Thirty Day Challenge

August 1st, 2009

Well, it’s finally here and I am pumped up! This year’s challenge is going to be awesome.

It’s funny because I’ve been so excited about the opportunity The Challenge provides and yet I’ve been feeling a little frustrated because I don’t seem to be able to communicate that to anyone else. Then I realized that it doesn’t matter. Whether or not we “hear” a message depends more on where we are at than on the message itself or how well it is delivered. I’m ready and eager for this message at that is all that really matters.

The Hippy Days

July 19th, 2009

n668837796_873227_6205I was listening to this song and it made me think of my hippy days. There is no question that the “hippy” culture was tapping into some sort of common emotional mapping that was and still is shared by a lot of people. This is a picture of me that I would guess is from the mid-seventies. This was my new “shorter” hair cut.

So this song makes me feel like and old hippy and I like that.

Burn One Down

Let us burn one from end to end,
And pass it over to me my friend.
Burn it long, we’ll burn it slow,
To light me up before I go.

If you don’t like my fire, then don’t come around,
’cause I’m gonna burn one down.
Yes, I’m gonna burn one down.

My choice is what I choose to do,
And if I’m causing no harm, it shouldn’t bother you.

Your choice is who you choose to be,
And if you’re causin’ no harm, then you’re alright with me.

If you don’t like my fire, then don’t come around,
’cause I’m gonna burn one down.
Yes, I’m gonna burn one down.

Herb the gift from the earth,
And what’s from the earth is of the greatest worth.
So before you knock it try it first,
Oh, you’ll see it’s a blessing and not a curse.

If you don’t like my fire, then don’t come around,
’cause I’m gonna burn one down.
Yes, I’m gonna burn one, oohhh.

A-Ha Moments

May 28th, 2009

I’ve been struggling with Internet Marketing for a couple of years now and while I’ve had a certain amount of success, it hasn’t been anything like what I was originally hoping for.

But recently, I’ve started having a series of “a-ha moments” at practically everything I look at in the field of Internet marketing. I hate to say it, but I think I’m finally understanding what this stuff is all about. I actually think I’m about to bust this shit wide open!

Thirty Day Challenge

May 21st, 2009

The 2009 Thirty Day Challenge is about to start it’s pre-season runup to the big launch!

The Challenge officially starts, as always, on August 1st, and I am totally stoked! The pre-season starts June 1st so there is going to be two months to get ready and to get cranked up for what is sure to be a major event in internet marketing. If you’ve ever thought about making money online, you’d be a fool to pass up this opportunity.

I’ve been chipping away at learning internet marketing for a couple of years now and I have to admit that I haven’t been consistent in my efforts. I think that has been mostly due to frustration, which is not something I handle very well. I hate it when I feel clueless, and it sometimes takes me a long time to work myself up to the point where I can push through the frustration and get on with the job.

So, anyway, I’m really looking forward to this years challenge because I think I finally have enough experience and knowledge to hit the ground running, so to speak, and really take full advantage of this amazing opportunity.

I don’t understand…

May 17th, 2009

I don’t understand how I can be so many things at the same time.

I don’t understand how I can be so smart and so stupid.

I don’t understand how I can be so perceptive and so blind.

I don’t understand how I can be so energetic and so lazy.

I don’t understand how I can be so nice and so shitty.

I don’t understand how I can be so loving and so hateful.

I don’t understand how I can be so good and so bad.

I don’t understand a fucking thing.

The Bird Bath

May 17th, 2009

Last summer I was at a friend’s house and he had a shallow dish in a hanger on his balcony for the birds to drink from. I thought it was a cool idea, so I copied it and I bought one of those shallow dishes used for under a potted plant and I bought a cheap macremé hangar for it and I put it up on my front porch, next to the bird feeder.

But I never saw any birds using it.

Then just a few weeks ago, I was watching the birds at the feeder and one of them flew over to the dish and took a couple of drinks and then flew off. It made me smile and feel good.

So all this time I have been keeping the dish full of water and from time to time I would notice that I would fill the dish one day and the next day it would be pretty much empty. I just assumed that I had spaced out and forgotten to fill it for a few days and the water had evaporated. Obviously, the birds weren’t drinking it dry in two days.

Then yesterday, I was once again looking out the window and I saw a bird come and take a couple of drinks and then do the most remarkable thing. He hopped into the dish and took a bath! He splashed around like crazy for a minute, throwing water everywhere and then took off. Suddenly the penny dropped and I knew where the missing water had be going. So all this time the birds have been drinking and bathing in the dish as I had hoped they would, but I finally got to see it.

New Site – Time to Go Back to School

April 26th, 2009

Got the new site going and I’m pretty happy with how this new theme works to make a very professional looking site.

The Princess Rings Shop

Now we’ll just have to see if I can get some traffic. The Archery Hunting Equilment site is doing relatively well, so I think I need to redo it with the new theme and then start promoting it better.

I’m also feeling like it is time to concentrate on studying Internet Margeting techniques again. I’ve passed up tons of info from Stomper and I am particularly eager to check out all the stuff I’ve gotten from WordpressDirect.

So I’m going to do the social bookmarking thing for The Princess Ring Shop and then go back to school for a while.

Using the combination of What’s Hot at eBay and Market Samurai to research keywords and then all my site building tricks makes me fell like I have a good understanding of this particular internet marketing niche.
